The National PTA Outstanding Advocacy Awards honor exceptional PTA advocates—individuals, youth, and organizations—who have made significant contributions to advancing the education, health, safety, and well-being of children. The awards recognize advocacy efforts at state and local levels, as well as individual champions, and are presented annually during the National PTA’s Legislative Conference. Recipients are selected across four categories: Outstanding State PTA Advocacy Award, Outstanding Local PTA Advocacy Award, Shirley Igo Advocate of the Year Award, and Outstanding Youth Advocate of the Year Award.
