The National PTA Outstanding Advocacy Awards recognize exceptional advocacy efforts by PTA members and organizations that have made significant positive impacts on the education, health, safety, and well-being of children. These awards celebrate individuals and groups who champion positive changes in their communities and elevate the importance of family engagement and advocacy in schools. Four award categories are available: Outstanding State PTA Advocacy Award, Outstanding Local PTA Advocacy Award, Shirley Igo Advocate of the Year, and Outstanding Youth Advocate of the Year. Awardees are honored during the National PTA Legislative Conference, highlighting their achievements on a national stage.
