Description
The Fall Research Competition at the University of Wisconsin–Madison provides internal funding to faculty and researchers for innovative research projects spanning the arts, humanities, biological sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences. The program is designed to help researchers initiate or complete projects, especially in the face of interruptions or cancellations of federal funding, and to serve as backup (“insurance”) for pending external grant applications. The competition prioritizes proposals that demonstrate originality, significant impact, and alignment with the university’s research priorities.
