Description
The Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) administers Family Violence Prevention and Services Act funding for projects that prevent family violence and provide immediate shelter and related assistance to victims and their dependents. Statewide initiatives are also eligible. The program’s two funding areas are core shelter services and prevention and related assistance.
OCJS is a division of the Ohio Department of Public Safety and administers state and federal criminal justice grants. The FVPSA program addresses both the need to prevent family violence and the need for shelter and support when it occurs.
