--- ## Description The FAMOUS Travel Grants program provides funding for members of the American Astronomical Society (AAS) to attend Society meetings and present their research. The primary goal is to increase participation of astronomers from groups that are historically underrepresented in the field, including minorities, scientists at small colleges, non-traditional students, and veterans. The grant is intended to help cover travel, meals, and lodging expenses but does not pay for meeting registration fees.
