Description
The FAMOUS Travel Grants program, administered by the American Astronomical Society (AAS), provides financial support to AAS members—especially those from groups historically underrepresented in astronomy—to attend and present research at AAS meetings. The grant is designed to increase diversity and participation within the astronomical community by helping offset travel, meals, and lodging costs. While all AAS members are eligible to apply, priority is given to applicants from underrepresented backgrounds, including minorities, scientists at small colleges, non-traditional students, and veterans.
