Description
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets offers this competitive grant to help Vermont schools and early childhood providers build or strengthen farm to school and farm to early childhood programs. Its priority is work integrated across the classroom, the cafeteria, and the community—the program’s “3 C’s”—rather than work confined to one setting.
The grant is part of the Vermont Farm to School and Early Childhood Program, authorized by the state legislature through the Rozo McLaughlin Farm-to-School Program Act of 2006. Funding comes from an annual State of Vermont legislative appropriation.
