Description
The Farmland Restoration, Climate Resiliency & Preparedness (RRP) Grant is a Connecticut Department of Agriculture initiative designed to enhance the long-term climate resilience of Connecticut's farming sector. The program funds both the development of comprehensive Farmland Restoration and Climate Resiliency (FRCR) Plans and the implementation of climate-smart practices identified in these plans. The RRP Grant aims to reduce farm vulnerability to extreme weather, promote sustainable agricultural operations, and continuously refine its approach through stakeholder input.
