Description
The FAST-Trac Award, offered by the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST), is designed to accelerate translational research projects that advance potential treatments for Angelman syndrome (AS). The award targets innovative work in gene and disease modification, symptom-alleviating therapeutics, and the development of research platforms, high-throughput drug screening tools, and advanced disease models (both in vitro and in vivo). FAST-Trac also supports biomarker and outcome measure development, clinical site preparation, and comprehensive natural history data collection to ensure promising therapies are ready for clinical trials. Awardees are expected to generate actionable data, provide regular progress updates, and present findings at the annual FAST Global Science Summit.
