Description
The FDA-OCE-ASA Oncology Educational Fellowship is a collaborative, virtual program developed by the American Statistical Association (ASA) in partnership with the FDA Oncology Center of Excellence and the ASA’s Biopharmaceutical Statistics Section. The fellowship is designed for advanced statistics and biostatistics PhD students and post-doctoral fellows who wish to deepen their understanding of oncology drug development and regulatory policy. Through a series of eight online sessions, participants will explore advanced topics including clinical trial design in oncology, adaptive and Bayesian methodologies, subgroup analyses, regulatory science, and the evolving role of statisticians in drug development.
The program aims to equip emerging statisticians with the knowledge and perspective necessary to contribute to oncology research and regulatory decision-making. There is no cost to participate, and the fellowship does not provide a financial award.
