Description
This fellowship is a collaborative initiative of the FDA Oncology Center of Excellence, the American Statistical Association, and the ASA’s Biopharmaceutical Statistics Section. It provides an immersive, cohort-based educational experience for advanced statistics and biostatistics graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, focusing on the intersection of oncology drug development, clinical trials, and regulatory science. The program features a series of 8 three-hour online sessions (September/October 2026 – April/May 2027) covering topics such as adaptive and Bayesian designs, real-world evidence, regulatory policy, and the evolving role of statisticians in oncology.
