This program offers free, expert guidance and technical assistance to help Maine small businesses prepare and submit competitive proposals for federal funding opportunities, especially the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. The support is provided through the Maine Technology Institute’s Technical Assistance Program (TAP), which helps businesses navigate the complex federal grant process, increase their chances of success, and foster innovation and economic growth in Maine.
