Description
The California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP), administered through the University of California Research Grants Program Office, supports the next generation of breast cancer researchers through predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowships. The awards provide mentored research and training support at California institutions, addressing funding gaps created by changes in federal research priorities. Their goal is to advance understanding, prevention, and treatment of breast cancer while helping fellows develop research careers.
Projects must address one or more CBCRP priority issues: community impact and social context; etiology and prevention; breast cell biology; or detection, prognosis, and treatment.
