The Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) Fellowship Programme offers annually appointed non-stipendiary fellowships for legal scholars and practitioners. The programme aims to advance legal research, enhance the Institute’s national and international profile, and promote public engagement at the intersection of academic research and professional practice. Fellows are expected to make substantial contributions to the academic activities of IALS, including research, teaching, governance, and public engagement.
