Description
The FEMA Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) is a competitive federal program funded through annual Department of Homeland Security appropriations and administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) facilitates the program in Maine. It supports physical security enhancements and other security-related activities for nonprofit organizations at high risk of a terrorist attack, helping them strengthen their security posture against terrorism and other extremist attacks.
MEMA supports participants throughout the grant performance period with training and technical assistance. Available training covers the program overview, procurement, writing an investment justification, and environmental and historical preservation requirements for FEMA grants.
