Description
The Arizona Commission on the Arts supports the presentation of quality arts and culture programming through festivals that connect artists and culture bearers, or their work, with communities. Festival Grants support in-person, virtual, and hybrid gatherings featuring a varied, curated program within a condensed period. Programming must place arts and culture at the center and promote awareness of one or more artistic or cultural traditions or disciplines.
Supported costs include artist fees and contracted artistic services, production and venue expenses, marketing, live streaming, and accessibility services. Applications are assessed for the quality of their programming, benefit to the communities they engage, access and participation for people of all abilities, and the feasibility of delivering the festival.
