Description
The Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) is distributing combined federal fiscal year 2025 and 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Colonia Set-aside funds in one competitive round. The program directs funding to designated communities within 150 miles of the U.S.–Mexico border that historically lacked potable water or sanitary sewer service and decent, safe, sanitary housing.
Projects must use an eligible activity category described in the CDBG Application Handbook and meet a CDBG National Objective. ADOH awards funds competitively, considering project need and priority, readiness, organizational capacity, poverty level, leverage, and other factors in its application rating tool.
