Description
The Field Initiated Projects program is administered by the Administration for Community Living’s National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). It seeks to advance the inclusion of people with disabilities—especially those with the greatest support needs—in society, employment, independent living, family and caregiver support, and economic self-sufficiency.
This opportunity funds development projects that use knowledge gained from research to create materials, devices, systems, methods, measures, techniques, tools, prototypes, processes, or intervention protocols beneficial to people with disabilities.
