Description
The Administration for Community Living’s National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research supports Field Initiated Projects that generate knowledge to improve the full inclusion and integration of people with disabilities, especially those with the greatest support needs. The program addresses participation in society, employment, independent living, family and caregiver support, and economic self-sufficiency.
This opportunity is for research proposals. Projects must identify one or more hypotheses or research questions and conduct an intensive, systematic study to produce new scientific knowledge or a better understanding of the subject studied. Field Initiated Projects development proposals will be invited under a separate announcement.
