Description
The Fields Artist Fellowship is a biennial program established by the Oregon Community Foundation in partnership with Oregon Humanities to support Oregon-based artists and culture bearers who address critical community issues and foster meaningful change through creativity and cultural expression. The fellowship provides substantial financial support, professional development, networking, and opportunities for community-building over a two-year period. It is designed to honor and sustain the commitment of artists and culture bearers to social change, with a focus on diverse disciplines and perspectives from across Oregon. The program recognizes both artists and culture bearers—individuals who carry and share ancestral or cultural knowledge—emphasizing the broad impact of art on community, civic, and social outcomes.
