The FIERCE Financial Support Programme is a cascade-funding call run by the EU-funded FIERCE project under Horizon Europe’s support for SMEs’ sustainability transition. It supports the use of downstream space data—including Earth observation, remote sensing and satellite navigation—to develop green solutions. Projects can range from initial ideation to final-stage solutions, including adoption of commercially available solutions.
The programme helps beneficiaries contract External Service Providers to design, upscale or commercialise solutions that benefit their own operations or their users. Priorities include circularity, resource efficiency, waste management, environmentally friendly management of raw materials, and environmental monitoring. Around 23 projects are expected to receive support, and each beneficiary is assigned a Lead Mentor throughout the programme.
