The Fight for Sight Small Grant scheme is designed to help researchers in vision science gather preliminary or pilot data, making their future applications for larger-scale funding more competitive. The grant is open to projects addressing sight loss caused by any eye disease or condition not already covered by partnership awards in the scheme. The aim is to catalyze innovative research and provide a foundation for impactful discoveries in ophthalmology, with a focus on understanding, prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of sight loss. Collaborations with partner organizations may apply, with some partners specifying additional research priorities.
