Description
The Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) Program, administered by the Idaho Office of Emergency Management in partnership with FEMA, provides financial assistance to state, local, and tribal governments in Idaho for costs incurred in the mitigation, management, and control of wildfires that threaten to cause a major disaster. The program reimburses eligible entities for a wide range of fire suppression and emergency response activities, including personnel, equipment, supplies, and related costs, once a fire incident is declared eligible by FEMA.
