Description
Fire Prevention & Safety (FP&S) is a FEMA grant listed by the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA) among its federal mitigation-grant programs. It supports fire departments’ work to reduce fire risks and strengthen public safety through community and wildfire risk reduction, code enforcement and awareness, and fire and arson investigation.
The grant also covers national, state, or regional programs and projects. DEMA identifies FP&S separately from the Stafford Act 404 and 406 mitigation programs administered by its Mitigation and Public Assistance branches.
