Description
The Firefighter Property Program, administered by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), allows Minnesota fire departments and emergency service agencies to obtain excess military vehicles and equipment through DNR Forestry. The program is designed to enhance local firefighting and emergency response capabilities by repurposing Department of Defense surplus equipment, which can be converted and put into service for fire suppression and related activities. Once converted, departments receive a certificate of title for the equipment.
