Description
This grant program enables Idaho library staff and trustees to attend a regional or national library conference for the first time, addressing a specific professional development need. The goal is to expand the skills and knowledge of library workers, allowing them to better serve their communities. Funding covers conference registration, travel, and lodging expenses. The program is part of the Idaho Commission for Libraries’ Continuing Education Grants, funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Awards are offered as reimbursements to the library after the event is completed and reporting requirements are met.
