Description
This program aims to enhance the research and educational capabilities of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Institutions (MIs) in scientific and engineering disciplines critical to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The program supports basic and applied research that is relevant to naval science and technology (S&T) priorities, encourages faculty and student engagement in STEM, and strengthens institutional research infrastructure. Proposals must clearly advance naval-relevant S&T, expand research capacity, and include a robust student engagement plan. Projects focused solely on non-research STEM activities are not eligible.
