Description
This opportunity provides funding to improve the health of medically underserved communities and populations through grants supporting the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality preventive and primary health care services. Each year, specific service areas eligible for competition are announced via the Service Area Announcement Table (SAAT). Additional service areas may be announced throughout the year if an awarded health center cannot continue to provide services in its funded area. The program aims to strengthen the health care safety net by supporting organizations that deliver vital services to vulnerable populations.
