Description
This funding opportunity supports the improvement of health outcomes for medically underserved communities and populations by providing grants to organizations that deliver comprehensive, high-quality preventive and primary health care services. Funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Service Area Competition (SAC) program enables the continued operation or expansion of health centers serving vulnerable populations in the United States and its territories. Each competition cycle announces available service areas in the Service Area Announcement Table (SAAT), and additional areas may be announced throughout the year if existing grantees are unable to continue services.
