Description
Fleet-ZERO is a statewide competitive grant program managed by the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) and Community Access Enterprise. It reduces the cost of installing charging for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty on- and off-road fleet vehicles and equipment. Supported projects include private depots, shared fleet charging, public and semi-public fleet charging, and charging-as-a-service.
The program aims to reduce diesel and gasoline emissions, improve public health and air quality, and lower fleet fuel and maintenance costs. It prioritizes disproportionately impacted communities, small businesses, independent operators, and qualifying entities. New M/HD Corridor applications and Charging Hub incentives support charging available to multiple fleets. EBUS incentives support electric school buses and non-bus student transportation, including replacement of non-operational chargers.
