Flexible Support is funded by the McKnight Foundation and administered by Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council (PLRAC). It helps organizations and groups create and sustain Minnesotans’ access to the arts through operational support, organizational capacity building, arts programming, or a combination of these activities.
Support can cover staff salaries and rent for spaces providing arts access, as well as management improvements such as rebranding, website development, financial tracking systems, equipment purchases, and facility improvements. Arts programming may include a single theater production, a series of music workshops, or public art such as sculptures and murals. Activities serve PLRAC’s nine-county region: Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca, and Watonwan.
