The FlexTech Program provides cost-sharing for technical assistance services—including energy audits, feasibility studies, and clean energy planning—to help New York State commercial, industrial, institutional, and multifamily customers make informed energy and sustainability decisions. Applicants can work with a NYSERDA-qualified FlexTech Consultant or select their own independent service provider, who will deliver customized assessments and recommendations to reduce energy consumption, operating costs, and carbon emissions. Projects may include energy efficiency studies, carbon reduction planning, electrification readiness, clean heating and cooling analysis, and more. The program does not fund implementation or equipment purchases (except eligible metering).
