Description
NYSERDA’s Flexible Technical Assistance (FlexTech) Program supports New York commercial, industrial, institutional, and multifamily customers with objective assessments tailored to their facilities and business needs. Engineers, technology experts, and energy consultants identify, analyze, and prioritize opportunities to reduce energy consumption, costs, and carbon emissions.
Supported work includes energy and retro-commissioning studies, climate action and sustainability plans, clean heating and cooling studies, thermal energy networks, energy master planning, energy advisor services, and school bus or truck fleet electrification planning. Assessments provide a technical basis for investment decisions rather than paying to implement recommendations. When implemented, recommendations may reduce utility and maintenance costs, extend equipment life, and improve occupant comfort.
