    Description

The Flinn Foundation’s Translational Seed Grants Program supports research teams developing innovative products or services that address well-defined, compelling clinical needs. It focuses on medical devices and equipment, diagnostics, health-focused technology platforms or delivery processes, and therapeutics and pharmaceuticals. Projects should have significant potential to translate bench results into viable solutions benefiting patients in Arizona and beyond.

Launched in 2013, the program advances Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap goal to “Accelerate Research into Impact,” increasing the scale, speed, and success of commercialization. A five-year renewal beginning with the 2027 application strengthens alignment with the Foundation’s Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program and emphasizes mentorship and learning. Alongside research funding, teams receive commercialization workshops, expert connections, and opportunities to pursue follow-on support.
