Description
The Florida Work Experience Program (FWEP) is a state-funded, need-based initiative designed to provide eligible Florida students with practical, paid work experiences that complement their educational and career goals. Administered by the Florida Department of Education, Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA), FWEP operates through participating colleges, universities, Florida College System institutions, charter technical career centers, and educator preparation institutes. Each institution tailors the program to its student population, determining application procedures, eligibility screening, award amounts, and the number of hours students may work.
