    Description

    This grant program, administered by Your Community Foundation of North Central West Virginia (YCF), funds nonprofit organizations and public institutions working to address urgent community needs in the areas of basic needs (housing, utilities, food) and addiction prevention. The program prioritizes grassroots, collaborative projects that use creative, evidence-based approaches to reduce the impact of addiction on children and families. Preference is given to high-need, low-resource communities within Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, and Taylor counties. Proposals are encouraged to involve individuals with lived experience of addiction and to partner with other local organizations or agencies.
