Description
This initiative is designed to help University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine faculty overcome narrowly defined weaknesses in high-quality, but unfunded, NIH R01 (or equivalent) proposals. The funding is intended for focused experiments, new reagents, or innovative techniques that directly address 1–2 reviewer-identified, score-driving weaknesses from the most recent summary statement. The supplement is not for broad exploratory research, general lab maintenance, or entirely new research aims.
