Description
The Food and Nutrition NIFA-BARD-IIA program funds joint research projects between U.S. and Israeli scientists, in collaboration with Israeli companies, to accelerate innovation in food and nutrition technologies. The program aims to improve food quality and nutrition, expand food variety and availability, and promote healthy consumption. Projects must be collaborative, with both academic and industry partners, and are expected to produce outcomes with potential for commercialization and societal benefit. Intellectual property generated through the research remains with the investigators’ institutions.
