Description
The Food and Nutrition NIFA-BARD-IIA program funds joint research projects between US and Israeli scientists, in partnership with Israeli companies, to advance innovative food and nutrition technologies. The initiative aims to improve food and nutrition, increase the variety and availability of food, and promote healthy consumption. By fostering binational collaboration, the program accelerates the translation of research into practical solutions with potential commercial impact, benefiting both nations. Intellectual property generated remains with the investigators’ institutions, and all projects must adhere to both NIFA and Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) guidelines.
