Description
Community Impact Grants are administered by the Sturgis Area Community Foundation (SACF) to improve quality of life in communities throughout St. Joseph County, Michigan. The program supports a broad range of programs and projects, including arts and culture, community and economic development, education, health, human services, housing, seniors, and youth.
Formerly known as Sturgis Competitive Grants, the program draws on the Foundation’s unrestricted resources. Its areas of emphasis include educational attainment and career readiness, along with community development and engagement. These priorities encompass early learning, workforce preparation, vibrant downtowns, cultural activities, and parks and trails. The Foundation also considers neighborhood revitalization, housing, and talent attraction and retention initiatives.
