Summary: Supports Canadian graduate students in science and engineering to conduct research and build collaborations in Taiwan.
Foreign Study Supplements in Taiwan provide graduate students in the natural sciences and engineering with the opportunity to gain first-hand research experience in an international laboratory setting. The program aims to introduce students to the scientific and engineering landscape of Taiwan, foster cross-cultural collaboration, and build lasting professional relationships. It is co-sponsored by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in Taiwan, with organizational support from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), which assists with orientation, language training, and travel arrangements.
