Description
The Forest Establishment & Improvement Cost Share program, part of the Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program (TAEP), provides financial incentives to private landowners in Tennessee to establish new forests or improve existing ones. The program reimburses a portion of costs for site preparation, planting, vegetation control, and active forest stand management, aiming to enhance forest health, timber resources, wildlife habitats, water quality, and soil protection. Eligible activities include both the establishment of new stands (hardwoods and softwoods) and the active management of existing forests.
