Description
FORESTPathways is the first Joint Call of the FOREST Partnership, bringing together 36 research funding organisations from 27 countries. The Research Council of Finland is a participating funder. The call supports transnational research and innovation across disciplines and sectors, including applied research.
Projects must choose one primary topic: climate-resilient forest systems; adaptive and multifunctional forest management systems; timber and innovative wood-based products; or forest value chains, markets and governance. Cross-cutting proposals can address other topics, but the primary topic determines the evaluation panel and ranking list. The partnership aims to generate knowledge, innovations and collaborations for resilient forests and a sustainable forest-based sector.
