Description
The Society for Classical Studies awards the Forum Prize annually to recognize outstanding public engagement with the ancient Greek and Roman world. It honors work that originates outside the academy and brings classical subjects to a broader public, whether its creator is a classicist or a nonclassicist.
The Outreach Prizes Committee awards the prize for a public-facing essay, book, poem, article, podcast, film, or other work. Its categories are nonfiction (including podcasts), fiction (including podcasts), and visual art and multimedia (including film, television, and plastic arts).
