    Description

The Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) offers this Natera-supported grant within its Gynecologic Cancer Grants category. It supports research incorporating personalized molecular residual disease (MRD) testing to advance management of ovarian, endometrial, cervical, and other gynecologic cancers. Priority goes to prospective, interventional designs exploring the value of MRD-informed care.

Research may evaluate MRD’s clinical utility in treatment decisions, use circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) dynamics to guide therapy escalation, de-escalation, or switching, or investigate ctDNA as a surrogate endpoint for treatment efficacy or survival. Other interests include reducing overtreatment and toxicity, including financial toxicity, and using MRD-guided surveillance to inform imaging or treatment escalation. Studies focused on feasibility, detectability, or general prognostic value receive lower priority.
