Description
The Foundation Grant is Alabama Power Foundation’s flagship and broadest funding opportunity for nonprofits. For more than 35 years, it has supported work that creates lasting change across Alabama. Projects may address Educational Advancement, Civic and Community Development, Arts and Cultural Enrichment, Health and Human Services, or Environmental Stewardship.
The program seeks projects with the potential to produce permanent improvements in a community or throughout the state. Collaboration among a varied group working toward common goals is central to its approach, as is the ability to duplicate a program or idea in other communities. Applicants must demonstrate sound fiscal management and accountability, alongside the ability to attract multiple sources of project support.
