Description
The Foundation of the American Society of Neuroradiology presents this annual program to support ASNR members who demonstrate promise for future contributions to neuroradiology. It funds a broad range of approaches: technical translation, translational research, technical development, artificial intelligence, retrospective or prospective clinical data analysis, comparative effectiveness research, and the development, refinement, or application of novel imaging methods. Not every research approach necessarily receives funding each year.
Projects must have a clearly stated, testable hypothesis and well-developed aims. Applicants are encouraged to explain how they will overcome enrollment barriers for populations experiencing health disparities. Multidisciplinary collaboration is important for certain projects and indispensable for technical translation. The ASNR Research Committee reviews applications and recommends recipients to the Foundation, which designates and administers the grants.
