Description
The Frances M. Culbertson Travel Grant, administered by the American Psychological Foundation (APF), helps women psychologists from developing countries attend international and regional psychology conferences. Limited resources can make it difficult for early-career psychologists to keep abreast of developments in their field. The grant addresses this barrier by supporting conference travel rather than funding a research project.
The program focuses on women in the earliest stages of their careers and gives preference to attendance at four specified international or regional conferences. Participation in the conference program is not required. Alongside travel support, recipients receive two years of American Psychological Association (APA) affiliate membership.
