This award honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional, sustained contributions to the field of communication sciences and disorders (CSD) over a minimum of 20 years. Recognized areas include clinical service, supervision, administration, clinical research, or activities that have advanced clinical excellence in audiology and/or speech-language pathology. The award celebrates lifetime achievements that have significantly influenced the quality and direction of clinical care, and is presented in memory of Frank R. Kleffner, a leader in the profession.
