Description
This fellowship provides $4,000 in research funding to new optometric and vision science faculty, as well as optometric residents and fellows, for projects in vision science, clinical practice, or public health. The program is designed to foster academic exploration and scholarly research early in an optometrist's career, with an emphasis on presenting findings at the American Academy of Optometry’s annual meeting and encouraging publication in peer-reviewed journals. Institutional endorsement and AAO membership are required.
