This grant aims to stimulate interest and recognize excellence in low vision among faculty at North American schools and colleges of optometry. The award is designed to support educational or clinical initiatives that advance low vision care, such as providing care, supporting personnel, purchasing or maintaining equipment, or addressing other low vision needs as identified by the institution. All projects must align with the mission of the American Academy of Optometry Foundation (AAOF). The program is administered by the AAOF in coordination with the American Academy of Optometry (AAO).
