Description
The Friends of Fulbright Finland (FoFF) Alumni Enrichment Award supports return visits to Finland by U.S. alumni of the Fulbright Finland Foundation. The program encourages alumni to further their original grant objectives, continue or develop cooperation with Finnish hosts, and extend interests in Finland formed during or after their grant. Proposed projects must demonstrate a continuing commitment to Finland through collaboration with a Finnish colleague and/or host institution.
Administered by the Fulbright Finland Foundation, the award has supported biotechnology research, curriculum development, music history documentation, education research, environmental studies, and art-and-ecology collaborations. Recipients receive Foundation staff support and contribute to Finland–U.S. relations by sharing their culture and grant experiences. Funding comes solely from the Friends of Fulbright Finland Alumni Enrichment Endowment, built through personal donations from alumni and friends.
