Organized by the Frontiers Research Foundation, the Frontiers Planet Prize recognizes scientific breakthroughs with the potential to stabilize the planet’s ecosystem. It focuses on evidence-based sustainability research that offers scalable solutions and demonstrable potential for impact at a planetary scale.
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine serve as the U.S. National Representative Body. They convene sustainability scientists and other experts to review U.S. nominations and select candidates for international evaluation. If a U.S. nominee wins, the National Academies support dissemination of the work to extend its reach and impact.
