Description
The Frontiers Planet Prize, coordinated in the U.S. by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, is a global competition that accelerates scientific solutions for planetary health. The prize honors breakthrough, peer-reviewed research with the potential to stabilize Earth's ecosystem and address planetary-scale sustainability challenges. Each year, three International Champions are awarded $1 million (USD) each to amplify the impact of their research. The program seeks to mobilize the scientific community to deliver actionable, evidence-based solutions that enable healthy lives on a healthy planet.
