Description
The Royal Academy of Engineering’s Frontiers Programme connects early- and mid-career researchers, innovators and practitioners from the UK and around the world. Its symposia bring people across disciplines together around international development themes and the Sustainable Development Goals, with the aim of building lasting partnerships and a global community working toward a sustainable, inclusive society.
Funding supports collaborations formed at symposia, expansion of seed-funded projects, networks built by Frontiers Champions, and communication of the impact of previous grants. Funded work has addressed challenges including refugee shelter, climate resilience and the circular economy.
