    Description

The FSC-Harvard Fellowship, administered by Harvard University’s Film Study Center, supports advanced work in film, video, photography, and sound, ranging from ethnographic to experimental projects. Its focus is work that explores and expands the expressive potential of audiovisual media, especially through nonfiction. The Center encourages applications from artists working in 16mm film.

The fellowship combines production equipment, post-production facilities, and technical support with membership in a community of filmmakers. Screenings, workshops, and work-in-progress critiques help fellows develop their projects. Participation in the monthly Nonfiction Workshop is central: fellows present work at stages ranging from rushes and rough cuts to fine cuts, receiving feedback from other fellows.
