    Description

Launched in 2025, the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) Established Investigator Grant supports researchers with an established career and demonstrated commitment to sarcoidosis through publications, scientific accomplishments, and extramural funding. International applicants are welcome, and cross-institutional or multidisciplinary collaborations are encouraged.

The program funds work aligned with FSR’s Research Agenda: standardizing patient-centered outcomes, identifying biomarkers for disease prognosis or progression, improving diagnosis, strengthening consistency and quality of patient care, and developing biomarkers to monitor treatment effects. It emphasizes significant, potentially impactful research supported by rigorous, feasible methods. Its guiding values include high-quality data, health equity and representation, real-world evidence, patient voice integration, investigator development, and connections to existing research. Scientific reviewers and patient stakeholders assess proposals’ alignment with these priorities and values.
