Description
The Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE) runs the Ministry Fellowship for college students considering a future in service to the Church and exploring pastoral ministry as a vocation. Fellows discern their calling in a peer cohort, beginning with an opening retreat and continuing through the six-week online course Discerning Pathways to Ministry, mentor conversations, and peer-group check-ins.
The course leads to a proposal either to pursue the fellow’s own call to ministry or to facilitate discernment among peers. Fellows whose proposals succeed receive a grant to put their projects into practice over the following year. At a closing retreat, they share project outcomes and insights with the cohort.
